The Human Subjects Protection Program (which includes the three Institutional Review Boards) provides for the protection of the rights and welfare of human subject involved in research at the University of Arizona through an ethical review process and in accordance with federal regulations, and state and local laws. We are committed to offering excellent service to the University of Arizona campus for initial and ongoing review of human subject research through consultation and educational services and tools, and through an environment of open communication.
